LMT MARS-L 12" SHOVELNOSE PISTOL - NO BRACE

The “Shovelnose” MRP upper was designed specifically for shooters who need more room for mounting accessories when using LMT piston barrels. The upper features a larger internal diameter allowing for the installation and removal of any LMT barrel without removing MLOK add-ons.

-The patented LMT monolithic rail platform (MRP) upper receiver, has a receiver and handguard that are made from a single piece of aerospace grade aluminum. The barrel is held in place with a proprietary locking system that utilizes two locking bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver. The only tool needed is a standard T-30 Torx bit to tighten the bolts. This receiver requires the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly which has a low profile gas block with straight gas tube.

-Barrel 12″ Piston Chrome Lined 5.56×45 (.223) 1:7″ RH twist barrel Designed for the LMT monolithic receiver, this barrel utilizes a piston operating rod and has an A2 birdcage for reduced flash. The barrel is coated and cryogenically treated for long term durability.
