Have a 590 Mossberg, and needed a side ammo carrier, and the standard sticky back loop cheapo options just did not stand up to the nevada heat while shooting and just peeled up in the corners, yeah they are cheap, but always needed replacing. Got the Vang Comp side carrier, and no issues with heat in fact the additional plate that the loop is attached to helps mitigate the heat. Its a rock solid platform and well worth the money.
