KAC’s new PRG system Signature Reduction Device line uses the blast pulse of the contained pressure to mechanically remove the combustible environment from the suppressor and eliminate first round flash almost entirely. The first suppressors, and many to this day, utilize a threaded barrel-to-device connection. Knight’s developed and fielded a much faster and easier system of connection which evolved into the Gate Latch. This system was first fielded on the M4QDSS and now the NT4 and M110/SR-25 suppressors. This system allows for quick attachment and detachment without sacrificing a secure fit.
